Girls Night

I made another change this weekend. I chopped my hair-and I regret it. Oh well, it will grow back. My great friend, Courtney came into town again and we had a little night out to go see my friend's band. The bar was one I had been to way too many times back when my ex-husband's bands used to play there. It is an awful little place that is always way too loud and always a little gross, but we didn't care. My friend Michelle came along and we had fun people watching and being hit on by a really annoying and slightly gross {I know that sounds mean, but I mean it in the nicest way :-) } guy.

My friend, Jeremy's band was really good. I had been meaning to see them for a long time, but something always fell through-either my babysitter (my mom) cancelled or something else got in the way.

In all, it was fun to get out and let loose with my girls. I wish I had more opportunities to do that. Courtney and I are in the planning stages of a trip to New York City for my 40th birthday in August. I want to do something big and fun. If anyone has ideas of somewhere to stay, let me know. I had wanted to stay at the Chelsea and was devastated to find out that it is now closed to guests. If you have any place that you know I can't miss while there, too-let me know!
